"The butcher of Africa"

Films: Primeval (2007)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: River

Height/Weight: Twice that of an average Nile Crocodile.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: In the many villages scattering Africa, all is not well. There is war, poverty, and death all around, and people inside and out of the places are doing everything to turn the tide. But sometimes, not even nature itself is willing to lend a helping hand. If it were, it would have not have created Gustave...

History: Burundi, Africa is in the middle of a vile civil war. And if crazed warlords and dirty cops aren't bad enough, there is a monster caught in all the chaos. It is a ridiculously huge Nile crocodile named Gustave, whose reputation is well known across the continent and beyond. Years of being fed the corpses of those who died in the war have turned the croc into a maneater, something that some warlords have noticed with glee. Just ask Little Gustave, a brutal man who loves feeding his enemies to the beast he insultingly named himself after. Then Americans get involved. It can only end so well.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: Little Gustave's horrible actions come to quite literally bite him when his attempts at feeding our heroes to the actual Gustave result in the crocodile attacking him instead. After his head is squashed like a melon between the beast's jaws, the survivors barely manage to evade him. The civil war thankfully ends with a ceasefire after Little Gustave's demise…though Gustave still remains, killing anyone who dares go near the rivers he inhabits.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-Gustave is what happens when you combine the horrors of human cruelty with the ravenous appetite of all crocodilians. Enormous, hyper-aggressive, and not one to give up the chase so easily, this croc is practically unnatural with how bloodthirsty it is. But that's not the kicker. The thing is...

Trivia: -…Gustave is very much real! While he's not quite as big nor homicidal, he is still one of the largest Nile crocodiles ever recorded at more than 18 feet and 2,000 pounds. He is estimated to have killed 300 people, and his favorite pastime is taking down grown hippos, which most crocodiles go out of their way to avoid. And to top it all off, every single attempt to capture and/or kill him has failed.

-Gustave's great size is theorized to be due to the fact that crocs simply do not stop growing as they age. He is thought to be at least somewhere between 70 and 100 years old. However, he has not been seen since 2015. Whether he's just hiding or age finally caught up with him, none can say...

That...that pile of bones was exaggerrated! Wait...it wasn't...oh, God...

Seems a bit excessive just to single out this small prey.
With that, the water is shattered forever.

RUN
Never smile at a serial killer.

Worst part? He didn't eat them. He just...I can't even...

Worst melon he's ever tasted.
