"Zombies in space"

Films: Plaguers (2008)

Alias: Various

Type: Mutant

Location: Haunted home/Eldritch location

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Zombies on the ground! Zombies in the sea! Zombies in the air...maybe! But now, the undead come to the final frontier! And they...actually look quite interesting.

History: An intergalactic cargo ship is carrying a valuable substance known as Thanatos. But then the crew are sent a distress signal from a ship known as the Diana. As it turns out, the place has been overtaken by space pirates, who plan on taking the Thanatos for themselves. But then it spills in the confusion, and infects one of the pirates. Soon the derelict ship, while on a collision course with Earth, becomes a horrifying hive of undead beings getting less and less human by the second.

Notable Kills: One rips off a woman's lips while kissing before going in for the kill.

Final Fate: After most of the crew and pirates are infected, what little remains that is human manages to rig the ship so that it explodes, taking the Thanatos and the Plaguers with it.

Powers/Abilities: Can infect others by biting them, and are slowly turning into stronger, more horrific forms.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-At first, the undead start off like savage cannibals. But then, JESUS H. CHRIST, those monsters with those teeth and malformed faces! Sure, they look a bit on the Halloween side of things, but there's no denying that the costume designer deserved a raise.

Trivia: -Thanatos is not-so-subtlety named after a Greek God of death. Ironically, Thanatos was said to bring about very gentle and nonviolent deaths.

-This film was also known as "Space Hazard", "Space of the Living Dead", and "Mutants: The 23rd Century".

Don't think a good bath will get rid of this plague.

For they are the Rick and Morty fandom, really.
Just ask the Necromorphs.

"Stupid interstellar magnifying glass!"

Morbo, NO!
Spacehazard! Because this wasn't 80s enough! No, wait. That's the several other random Direct-to-DVD space movies.
