"Dinocroc goes tropical"

Films: Supergator (2007)

Alias: None

Type: Man-made

Location: Civilized Area/River/Jungle

Height/Weight: That of an elephant.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Remember how the ending of "Dinocroc" featured a somehow still alive beast going around the place. Well this...is not that guy's story. No, this is a totally new Dinocroc. And this time, it's more or less in its element.

History: Made in a secret lab for bio-engineering purposes, Supergator broke out of his confines and into a heavily-populated tropical resort. Naturally, he wasted no time making meals out of just about every person around.

Notable Kills: One guy throws a rock at his nose. He doesn't last one second afterwards.

Final Fate: Eventually, Supergator is led to a fake volcano, which is then blown up. It has the effectiveness of a giant landmine, reducing the beast to gibs.

Powers/Abilities: An impenetrable hide.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-As with his predecessor, Supergator is a menacing prehistoric throwback, albeit smaller and sleeker than the last one. Also, the effects are nowhere near as good, if you could call them good in the first place anyway. Not helping is being in bright daylight most of the time.

Trivia: -Roger Corman wanted to make a sequel to his 2004 darling, but Syfy denounced it due to their aversion to sequels at the time. He did it anyway, just with a different title to avoid suspicion.

-This film was also known as "Primevil".
