"A Golden Savior"

Films: The Monster X Strikes Back/Attack the G8 Summit (2008)

Alias: Demon God Take

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: 120 meters and 10,000 metric tons.

Affiliation: Good

Summary: Oh noes! One of the most ridiculous kaiju to not be affiliated with Godzilla is back after so many years! And there's no Guilaliam in sight! Who will save us?! An ancient warrior God. Who else?

History: After being sent back to Earth by a Chinese probe, Guilala the fungus-based kaiju is back to destroy everything. It seems like Earth is doomed this time around, but a savior is right around the corner. Deep within the woods of the East, there is a village that prophesizes Guilala's defeat at the hands of a legendary warrior god named Take-Majin. But the people will have to be fast before the bigheads decide to take out Guilala in more ways that won't work...

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: After being summoned just in time to stop a nuclear missile (with his ass...sigh...), Take-Majin fights Guilala, and wins by throwing his disk blade at his head, killing the kaiju. The God soon returns to rest, waiting for the next time to be summoned.

Powers/Abilities: Take-Majin's greatest asset is a large disk blade that he has on his back.

Weakness: Beings of equal or greater power.

Scariness Factor: 1.5-Take-Majin may be huge, but he's definitely on our side, and has the fabulous visage of a brave warrior from the Heavens. And like the rest of this film, he is not immune to comedic moments.

Trivia: -Take-Majin was explicitly inspired by Daei's own Daimajin, albeit he's a lot nicer.

-Originally, famed Japanese comedian/director/actor Beat Takeshi was going to play as this being, but he was getting to old to engage in Tokusatsu fare, and simply provided voice work, with the role going to Yuichi Okada.
