“Dollface”

Films: The Devil's Machine (2019)

Alias: The Infernal Princess, Princess Talia

Type: Mysticaal

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: We've seen plenty of creepy dolls. But now, we bear witness to one that's as tall as you, feels like a robot, but acts like a devil. The lull of an automaton can be deceiving...

History: A skirmish involving Scottish soldiers ended with a chest being taken away. In truth, that chest contained the essence of Princess Talia, a disgraced royal who bit the dust rather unfairly after being accused of spreading a madness throughout Scotland. Her soul was placed into an elaborate automaton, and the house she resided in became a reclusive area. A person has come to check the place out, only to be menaced by the madness-inducing curse of the Infernal Princess.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The man is all but broken by his ordeal, and offers Talia his servitude to her in exchange for his true love's safety from the illusions she's made. He tries to behead the doll afterwards, but finds that she is eternal, and he must serve his end of the bargain for his girl's sake.

Powers/Abilities: Can conjure up elaborate illusions, and apparently has an entire army of Scottish soldier ghosts at her beck and call.

Weakness: None.

Scariness Factor: 4-The doll itself is a creepy piece of work, but then you actually feel its fury. The illusions it casts are full of madmen and violence all targeted towards you. The tortures she'll inflict on you through her visions are no joke. So stay away from that house.

Trivia: -This film was originally known as "Automata".

-Automatons are a lot like robots, except the predetermined tasks the perform can almost never be altered, and they are quite ancient, being some of the first robotic figures ever created.
