Films: Bad CGI Sharks (2019)
Alias: Various, notably Caitlyn
Location: Civilized Area
Height/Weight: Up to that of a small car.
Summary: After all the years in this decade and the last, it seemed that there was no shortage of sharks rendered in utterly awful computer effects. In essence, it is only fitting that we put a close to this chapter in monster cinema with the logical extreme of b-movie sharks, and really, modern b-movies in general. They're bad, they're CGI, and they're sharks. What more does the bar ask for?
History: One day, a couple of polar opposite brothers reunite so that they can finally finish their low-budget killer shark movie. But for some reason, something goes terribly wrong. A curse results in the terribly-rendered CGI sharks coming to life, and terrorizing the place. Some are rather intimidating, while others are way on the cartoonish side of things. Either way, the film must be completed, lest the main shark destroy mankind and bring about the rise of true shark cinema where they are no longer treated as the disposable monsters.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: After the two brothers make it to the beach, the main shark, Caitlyn, makes her debut, explains her plan, and faces off against them. She is only stopped when one uses a combination of the notebook with the script and a fiery stab to the eye. The shark dissipates into digital nothingness, as do the rest of her minions. However, at least one CGI shark is still around, no doubt for the sequel.
Powers/Abilities: Can appear just about anywhere, as well as tank most damage.
Weakness: Technical glitches, the notebook, following the rules of said notebook.
Scariness Factor: 2-Caitlyn is literally the only one that could be seen as a legitimate threat, if only because she looks like some kind of demonic great white/tiger shark with a baroness' voice. Aside from that, almost nothing is to be taken seriously here. Especially not the ones that look like they belong in a knockoff Pixar movie. Of course, the fact that they're so fake-looking is the point, but it's not any less grin-worthy for it.
Trivia: -This film was directed by a man simply known as MaJaMa. As of now, it is his first and only work. But we do look forward to future ventures, should there be any.
-Caitlyn was voiced by Shaun Landry, who's mostly known for her roles in commercials.
