“The water's not enough”

Films: Supershark (2011)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Ocean

Height/Weight: That of an average submarine.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Sharks stay in the water where they belong usually, right? In the movies, you'd be surprised by their tenacity. This one not only grew to gigantic size, but it also took a page from the orca whale, and realized that humans are quite tasty, even if they're just out of reach.

History: The constant pollution from oil rigs has contaminated the oceans, and one of the most affected creatures is a great white that has been mutated into a giant. And not just any giant shark either. This one prefers to beach itself and chomp on whomever is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Soon, the beaches go from places of socialization to annihilation.

Notable Kills: Drowns an entire oil rig.

Final Fate: After a quadrupedal tank fails to take out the shark, a person lures it into a cave, and blows it up with several explosives.

Powers/Abilities: A resilient hide, as well as surprising agility in and away from the water.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-A giant shark that can travel on land with ease SHOULD be scarier. It really should. But here, it just isn't. The dreadful CGI and the implausible sight of a shark on land set this otherwise imposing shark back several places to the point where it's back in the Pliocene.

Trivia: -Any large animal that ends up outside the water is pretty much destined to die. Their weight would crush them on the ground, and any attempt to drag themselves could result in major lacerations on the underside. Really, this shark would have expired after a while.

-For some reason, this film shows stock footage from "Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus" at the beginning.

Amity Beach was never THIS chaos-filled!

"CRAP! I'm late for the photo-shoot!"
A Sharknado-esque pun. SPARE ME.

The ultimate in fish-fry weaponary and yet...
The biggest type of Shark Attack!

He's a bit of a romantic.

Might as well use one ridiculous solution for a ludicrous situation.
