“Nazi blood should be yellow”

Films: Weresquito-Nazi Hunter (2016)

Alias: Cpl. John Baker

Type: Man-Made

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Good

Summary: The plights brought upon by Christopher R. Mihm just don't stop, do they? As if moon zombies and giant greenscreened tarantulas weren't enough, we now have a mutant who is a mosquito who is a WWII ally against the Third Reich. That's a keeper!

History: Cpl. John Baker was in a sticky situation. Captured by the nefarious Nazi doctor Schramm, he is subjected to experimentation that leaves him something new. Normally, he's like anyone else. But once he catches sight of blood, he undergoes a transformation into the bloodthirsty Weresquito! Thankfully, he's on a rampage against the people who made him this way, and all of them are good-for-nothing Nazis.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After being captured again, Baker finds that Schramm has made a black widow-person, and is attacked by her while he's a Weresquito. He survives, but is mortally wounded, and seemingly takes out the doctor before dying. Then it's revealed that both survived, and while Schramm gets away, the allied forces rescue Baker.

Powers/Abilities: The sight of blood causes the transformation.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-While the Weresquito is a terrifying idea, it's a less-than-stellar execution. That head is so stiff and cumbersome that it becomes obvious that it's a prop. Also, there's the fact that he's ultimately out for blood when it comes to the definite bad guys of WWII. Having a humanoid version of one of the deadliest insects on Earth is a major plus.

Trivia: -Like almost all the rest of Mihm's works, this film was entirely done in Minnesota.

-Baker was played by Douglas Sidney, while the Weresquito was done by Mihm regular Michael G. Kaiser.
