Film: The Mummy (1959)
Alias: None
Type: Mystical
Location: Desert/Civilized area
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: After ignoring Imhotep's successor from the 40s for so long, we've finally decided to give old Kharis the benefit of a doubt and detail his story, Hammer Productions style!
History: As we've stated before, Kharis' story is almost the same as Imhotep's, but with a few different details. For instance, this time a worshiper of an Egyptian God named Karnak summons him to take out those who have desecrated the tomb of Princess Ananka. And Kharis is more than willing to comply.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: Upon finding the obligatory princess lookalike, Kharis kills his original master and makes off with the woman. However, she manages to convince him that she does not wish to be with a dead man. Overcome with grief, Kharis lets her go and allows himself to get shot into a bog, where he willfully sinks with the scroll that brought him back in his hand.
Powers/Abilities: Kharis is impervious to literally anything anyone throws at him. Stabbing and gunshots especially.
Weakness: In the end, love makes him do foolish things. How else did he become a mummy?
Scariness Factor: 3.5-Honestly, if those explorers never went into that tomb, Kharis would still be sleeping. With that said, this mummy does not mess around when the going gets tough, and can overpower you in seconds. Yikes.
Trivia: -Once again, Christopher Lee plays the titular character of a Hammer Production related to the classic Universal monsters.
-Things were going to be more violent, but then the British censors stepped in. Darn.
