"Runt of the Convoluted Liter"

Films: The Ghastly Ones (1968)

Alias: Golin Trask

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: We like to think that some idiots locked up poor Colin up in the cellar for a while before they'd let him out on the basis of just looking ugly. Perhaps if the folks of the Trask family treated him well, he wouldn't turn out to be a psychotic cannibal.

History: Colin Trask was the hunchbacked delinquent of the Trask residence, which was anticipating a trio of related sisters coming over for three days on their father's will's request. Colin proved to be a rather...difficult neighbor, but even he grew concerned about the grisly murders occurring willy-nilly around the place...

Notable Kills: One of the first things he does when the sisters show up is find a rabbit, kill it, and then rip it apart with his bare teeth. The inner bunny-lover in us died a little at that moment.

Final Fate:It is revealed that the killer is a 4th sister looking for the fortune from the will. After having lit Colin aflame, she corners the survivors, only to be tackled by the hunchback. She and Colin go tumbling down stairs as her own cleaver goes into her head. Colin's sacrifice was a noble one, even if he was a bit of a sicko.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2-While Colin is shown at the beginning to be an unrepentant killer, he only seems to kill those he views as a threat, and is very defensive of those he deems friends. Plus, his ugliness is somewhat adorable in a sad sort of way. It helps that he goes out like a total badass.

Trivia: -This film is known under another title, "Blood Rites".

-This is one of the first "Video Nasties", a type of gore-soaked exploitation film banned during the 80s in the UK.
