Films: Ghidorah, the Three Headed-Monster (1964), Invasion of the Astro-Monster (1965), Destroy All Monsters (1968), Godzilla Vs. Gigan (1972)
Alias: King Ghidrah, Monster Zero, King of Terror
Location: Eldritch Location/Civilized Area
Height/Weight: 100 meters and 30,000 metric tons.
Summary: Of all the monsters Godzilla's been pitted against, none are quite as loathed and revered as the golden blight from space. A bringer of the apocalypse, one might say. A creature hated by all other kaiju. This is King Ghidorah.
History: Millennia ago, Venus had life and civilization. That all changed when Ghidorah attacked, leaving the world barren and devoid of its prosperity. Now, the space dragon seeks to repeat history on Earth. But the world happens to have some angry kaiju who would gladly put aside their differences just to take his smug ass down. Thus, Ghidorah would end up teaming up with several alien races with the sole intent of getting rid of that pesky Godzilla and pals.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: During the Kilaak offensive, Ghidorah is pitted against almost all of Monster Island's kaiju. It ends badly for him, as he's kicked onto the ground by Gorosaurus so that everyone can stomp all over him. To add insult to injury, the deathblow comes via suffocation from a smoke ring because of MINYA. And to top it all off, an earthquake sends the beast down into the bowels of the Earth, ensuring no one remembers him for generations to come.
Powers/Abilities: A swoop of his wings causes high winds, but his trump card is the ability to shoot electric "gravity beams" from all three heads. He's also more durable than most kaiju.
Weakness: It takes more than one kaiju to take him down.
Scariness Factor: 4.5-Like we said, one kaiju isn't enough to take this monster down. Ghidorah is a sadistic sonavubitch bent on the eradication of all life on every planet. And that's not for show. Before the kaiju intervened, even Godzilla would be miffed by his destruction streak.
Trivia: -Ghidora's name comes from the Japanese word for hydra, "Hidora".
-Back then, it required 25 people altogether to move those heads and tails.
