Films: Vampire Circus (1972)
Location: Civilized area
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Summary: It takes a supreme lack of remorse to take the life force of children. It takes even more to encourage them to carry out your legacy after the first life turns out to be a dud.
History: Count Mitterhaus had a thing for controlling the youth of Stetl, Serbia into becoming his nourishment for blood. But one day, he went too far, and was staked for his troubles. However, he convinced his almost-last victim to find her brother in "the Circus of Night" before dying. More than a decade later, a plague appears, the Circus of Night containing entertainment and shape-shifting vampires appears, and Mitterhaus is being carted by it. The ultimate goal of the vampires is to use the blood of the innocent to resurrect their count.
Notable Kills: Nothing special, though one of his minions turns into a black panther to kill.
Final Fate: The circus is eventually burned down, and despite being resurrected, Mitterhaus is beheaded by a crossbow, ending the curse.
Weakness: Holy artifacts, beheading.
Scariness Factor: 4-Those are some long fangs, you got there. Also, this vampire's legacy was so grand that it attracted a horde of vampires not afraid to get their hands very dirty.
Trivia: -There was an "updated" novelization released in 2012.
-Despite some scenes being cut, and instances of going over-schedule, this film was still a success.
