Alias: Jedidiah Sawyer, Jackson Sawyer, Bubba Sawyer
Location: Haunted home/Civilized area/Underground/Ocean/Jungle
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil
Summary: The chainsaw a lumberjack's best friend, and a victim's worst nightmare. No one has mastered the way of the murderous revolving saw-stick to an art form like Leatherface has. This hulking man-child has had it hard, but where can you go when your murder sprees are all you're good at?
History: Leatherface wasn't always the face-wearing monster we know him as. He was once a teenage escapee from a mental ward who seemed friendly and reasonable. Unfortunately, he was the offspring of the Sawyer family, a group of murderous cannibals who couldn't wait to see their boy grow to be just like them. And after getting shot in the face and being forced to kill his closest friends, poor Jedidiah Sawyer was completely broken. Now he's the man-child muscle of the Sawyer family, completely under their thumb and unable to speak, so deteriorated is his mind. He gets his name from how he often wears the skin of his victims as a mask to cover his mutilated face.
Notable Kills: There is nary a single way he hasn't killed someone with his chainsaw. A particular standout is when he chopped off a corrupt sheriff's arms and legs before stuffing him into a meat grinder.
Final Fate: The only true moment Leatherface died in the rather inconsistent sequels was when a grenade killed him and several others. But for the most part, he's gotten off scott-free.
Powers/Abilities: Leatherface's two favorite weapons are the chainsaw and the hammer.
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 4-Even if his intelligence took several strides backwards due to his abusive family, Leatherface is the unstoppable juggernaut of movie serial killers. Relentless and sometimes even creative, this kill-happy shell of a man is to be avoided at all times.
Trivia: -Like many other movie serial killers, Leatherface was inspired by Ed Gein. Specifically, how the man would sometimes wear the skin of his victims.
-Like several other horror killers (Jason Vorhees, Freddy Krueger, the Predator, the Xenomorph), Leatherface was implemented as a guest fighter in the "Mortal Kombat" video game franchise. There's something to be said about a hillbilly psychopath going toe-to-toe with esteemed warriors and gods, and prevailing.
