"All there is to know about the Slaying Game"

Films: The Other (1972)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Let's face it, those who thought they were getting a tale of twins of contrasting morale, they need to look elsewhere. Because on one hand, we have a smarmy prankster. On the other, we have Niles.

History: Niles Perry and his brother Holland lived in the thirties on a farm getting into all kinds of trouble. Niles always seemed like the nicer of the two, but he just needed a push to do some horrible things. Then his brother died at a very young age. Then he was taught "the game", which was about taking control of the bodies of other life. Now there are bizarre deaths and accidents afoot. And he's still insistent Holland is behind it all.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: Eventually, Niles develops an obsession with the Lindbergh kidnapping, and drowns his older sister's baby after kidnapping it. His caretaker soon burns down the barn he's in, but he survives to continue his crimes.

Powers/Abilities: A mild potency for psychic powers.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-As far as we care, this half-pint can go sit in a corner forever for the things he did. But be warned, this isn't the only creepy kid we'll be seeing in this decade. Not by a longshot…

Trivia: -The Lindbergh Kidnapping actually happened, and it involved an aviator's 20-month old son getting abducted and killed. It resulted in the Federal Kidnapping Law, or "the Lindbergh Law", which decrees that kidnapping across states is a federal crime.

-A particularly stupid post-production goof resulted in half the score being removed. Not a good look.
