"Vengeance burns bright"

Films: The Burning (1981)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Forest/Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Well, at least the pranks aren't being done on other teens now. No, they just got played on a powerful grown man this time. Sigh...they just never learn, do they?

History: Cropsy was just an average camp caretaker who fell prey to a prank involving a worm-filled skull. Unfortunately, Cropsy accidentally lit his cabin aflame in his panic, and after being caught in the ensuing fire, he barely survived. His face horribly mangled beyond repair, Cropsy decided to enact revenge on an unrelated camp, planning to kill those who reminded him of his past tormentors.

Notable Kills: A raft of four campers vs. one crazy man. Guess who wins.

Final Fate: After getting backstabbed by his own shears, Cropsy still isn't done with the survivors. His reward for his tenacity is an axe to the face, and being set on fire again just as he dies. His actions soon fade into urban legend.

Powers/Abilities: Cropsy's weapon of choice is a pair of large garden shears.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-Remember Kathahdin from that killer bear movie two years ago? Imagine if a human took her place, and knew how to stab people horribly. Sure, he's a bit sympathetic, but it can only be Hell getting killed violently by that ugly mug.

Trivia: -Cropsy was based off an urban legend from the 60s and 70s about a killer of the same name that was popular in upstate New York.

-This film was partially conceived by a young Harvey Weinstein, who back then wanted to get into film business really badly. It's so nice that he then led a selfless and noble career-OH WAIT, scratch that. He was a complete loser. Let's leave it at that.

Oh, it's so much worse.

Cut at it. Burn it. The past never fades.

Blood really is thicker than water.
He's one with the cosmos and super pissed! Run for your lives!

Nice hat. Why wasn't that in most of the film?

Still better make-up than what we got.
