"The expendable Expendables"

Films: The Eliminators (1986)

Alias: John the Mandroid, S.P.O.T the scout bot

Type: Man-Made

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: Ranges from a coconut to that of a small car.

Affiliation: Good

Summary: It's sad when THESE guys beat out the Avengers and the Justice League in terms of time it took to get a movie off the ground. Then again, the only real unique guy in this group of heroes is John the Mandroid (like an android, but a MAN!).

History: John was once just a Mandroid, a cyborg meant to bring back trinkets from different time periods to the nefarious Dr. Abbot Reeves. But the mad scientist wanted him dismantled, and only through luck did John survive. After being found by a much nicer scientist, he was given a new purpose: join a team of gifted men (a boat-riding action hero and a ninja), foil Reeves' next plan, and become the Eliminators!

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: After Reeves' retrofits himself to look like a Roman cyborg, John sacrifices himself in order to help the rest of the Eliminators finish their goal. They then proceed to wreck Reeves' time machine so that he ends up stranded in a time eons ago. A fate worse than death.

Powers/Abilities: John has lasers and dense armor. He can even go down stairs with ease!

Weakness: Heavy artillery and/or those with equal strength.

Scariness Factor: 2-A tank-man may be a bit imposing, but John is a firm good guy. S.P.O.T. is literally just there to look cute.

Trivia: -John was played by Patrick Reynolds, who occupies himself now as an anti-smoking activist.

-According to director Peter Manoogian, he thought that John's robot form was the best part of making the film, and it shows.
