"Title non-indictive"

Films: The Incubus (1982)

Alias: Laura Kincaid

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Demons come in many shapes and sizes. But they also come in different genders, too, if it's not too obvious. We've seen Sucubi before, but now for their male counterpart: the Incubus...or not.

History: In Galen Village, mysterious murders have been occurring, with most of the victims being women who have been brutally raped. They seem to happen every time the teenage Tim Galen has a prophetic dream. Some theorize that because his ancestors dealt in witchcraft, his dreams manifest an Incubus, a rape-happy male demon. It seems plausible, but...

Notable Kills: Total invasion of privacy is dragging a lady out of the bathroom.

Final Fate:...it is revealed that the culprit is a girl demon, making the killer a Succubus by default. And supposedly, it's still out there, looking for victims to rape and kill.

Powers/Abilities: Can manifest in any human body.

Weakness: The human host must be killed to dispose of it.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-It's a little disappointing that we didn't actually have an Incubus here, and it kind of looks like a sharp-toothed goblin, but that doesn't mitigate the terror of a demonic rapist. This horror likes it hardcore, and woe to anyone it sets its depraved sights on.

Trivia: -There was originally going to be an Incubus AND a Succubus in the same room in this film, but that was cut for reasons unknown.

-David Cronenberg was originally going to direct this film.

The letdown. The twist. The confusion.
Way to overcomensate with this fake scene, Incubus.
Don't fight the demon unless you're ready to. They've been on this Earth longer than you have, after all.
Duality...not here, actually. Check the film.
