Films: Hell of the Living Dead (1980)
Location: Civilized area
Height/Weight: That of average humans.
Summary: Eugenics are totally the best way to handle population problems, right? Oh, ha ha, NO. They just lead to murder, and in this case, more zombies for the pile.
History: This chemical, known as Operation: Sweet Death, was designed by the ironically named Hope Center to curb the populations of Third World countries...by zombifying them into cannibals to eat each other. Naturally, such a stupid idea backfired when a rat caused a leak, triggering an infecting among the many people around the facility.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: Alas, the infection is so cancerous that it spreads all throughout the world. As the government tries fruitlessly to deny it, the zombie horde just keeps growing…
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 3.5-These are some truly messed up zombies. While the effects can fall flat, that one zombie in particular was so frightening that we made him the front image. Then again, the promotional material probably felt the same too.
Trivia: -This film was also known as "Virus", "Zombie Inferno", "Night of the Zombies", "Hell of the Living Death", "Zombie Creeping Flesh", and "Zombi 4".
-Originally, the premise was that there was a Third World country already overrun by zombies, but that wasn't in the budget.
