"The sins of the saviors"

Films: Godzilla Vs. Destroyah (1995)

Alias: Destroyer, Destoroyer

Type: Ancient/Mutant

Location: Ocean/Haunted home/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: 120 meters and 80,000 metric tons.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: It is the end of Godzilla's time. Everything is burning, but mostly himself. His son is about to become either an orphan or a corpse along with the rest of the world. And now, the key to his predecessor's destruction is coming back in the worst way possible...

History: When the first Godzilla attacked, the Oxygen Destroyer was the only thing that could stop him. But it had unforeseen consequences. For there was actually a colony of microscopic crustaceans from Earth's Precambrian history that could survive in such conditions, and the device mutated them into worse beings that now have begun to surface. They stared out feasting on small creatures, but as they fed, they grew stronger and larger. Pretty soon, parts of Tokyo were overrun with large horrific crab-like monsters. Then those beasts combined into a larger Aggregate form. Then Godzilla Junior beat it up. But in that time, the monster had already feasted on some of the kaiju's genes, and used them to mutate into a final form. A living Oxygen Destroyer. Destoroyah.

Notable Kills: Drops Junior from several feet in the air, killing him.

Final Fate: Destoroyah seems to have the upper hand over Godzilla, but the monster king manages to significantly weaken him. In his attempt to retreat, the evil kaiju is blasted with cryolasers, causing him to plummet into the superheated ground, destroying the destroyer for good.

Powers/Abilities: Destoroyah is made of several of his kind, meaning that even in his final form, he can split into hundreds of his juvenile forms. All forms have the ability to copy DNA and take it as their own, as well as fire the Micro-Oxygen Beam from his/their mouths. His final form also can use his horn to form a sort of energy katana, or Variable Slicer.

Weakness: His weaker forms are weak to extreme heat, but all forms are especially vulnerable to extreme cold.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-You better thank your lucky stars that Destoroyah has so many exploitable weaknesses. Otherwise, even Godzilla couldn't beat this horrible thing. It stars out as the perfect candidate for a kaiju-less horror movie, coming in droves of mutant crab terrors, before finally evolving into what might as well be Satan if he were a kaiju! Also, his roars are downright unsettling. Suffice to say, Destoroyah was the perfect evil kaiju to end the Heisei series on.

Trivia: -Originally, Destoroyah's role was going to be taken by the restless spirit of the original 1954 Godzilla, known as Ghost Godzilla, but by then, there were enough G-doppelgangers already.

-The original concept for Destoroyah was a shapeshifting monstrosity known as Barubaroi. One of that beast's forms was a disgusting parody of Anguirus. Let that sink in...
