Summary: The most terrifying aspect of your neighbor's house isn't always the kooky occupant or the haunted-looking house. Sometimes, it's that vicious-looking guard dog they got. Just know that there isn't a single mutt that could be as bad as Max.

History: Max the Tibetan Mastiff was created as the perfect genetically modified dog, mainly due to his creator losing those he loved. Alas, an animal rights activist ends up releasing him, and at first, he's a lovable, smart, and loyal companion. Then the drugs keeping his temper at bay start to wear off, and Max is soon ready to become the apex predator of his neighborhood.

Notable Kills: Swallows an entire cat whole after chasing it up a tree. Needless to say, even the kids watching it are completely stunned.

Final Fate: Max is eventually beyond saving after being put through all kinds of abuse, and his owner is forced to blast him with a shotgun and knock him into an electrical cage. Max may be put out of his misery, but he knocked a collie up earlier, and one of her puppies looks a lot like him. Better luck next generation, we hope...

Powers/Abilities: Max has enhanced physical strength, can unhinge his jaws, camouflage, and has acidic urine...somehow.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4.5- The advertising describes this pooch as a psychotic lassie or a canine terminator, and for good reason. If Max and Cujo were put in the same room, chances are that the former would come out on top. Then again, for all of his homicidal tendencies, Max was a needlessly tortured dog who just needed a little love...and lots of drugs.

Trivia: -The Tibetan Mastiff was often used as a sheepdog for its home country, and still is. As for any inherent aggressiveness, while they are terrible for small environments, they are often considered to be the perfect sentry-type dog. Just make sure you get them accustomed to the neighbors, otherwise they might take their jobs too far.
