Films: Tale of the Mummy (1998)
Location: Haunted home/Civilized Area
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Summary: Mummies, mummies all around. And they're always going after either princess reincarnations or immortality. A year after this, a more famous mummy would resurface. But for now, we look at an equally ambitious would-be pharaoh.
History: After being banished from Greece due to accusations of sorcery, prince Talos made it to Egypt and married the lovely princess Nefriama. But those who were against Talos were afflicted with disaster, and the pharaoh was forced to take action against him. But Nefriama claimed to save Talos from execution by eating his heart. Also, Talos had asked that should he die, he wants his organs scattered all over the world so that they may be reclaimed and help him rise again, and become immortal. Of course, his tomb was raided and opened centuries later, and now he's hunting Nefriama's recent incarnation so that he has a nice body to be reborn in.
Notable Kills: Drags a guy through the toilet.
Final Fate: Talos manages to be reborn, minus a heart. But he does manage to get one from a person filled with the reincarnated Nefriama's love just in time. Now, he walks among us as a regular detective.
Powers/Abilities: Possession, turning into bandages, and invulnerability.
Weakness: Must reincarnate before the planets align, otherwise he's dust.
Scariness Factor: 3.5-The finnicky CGI is more than a bit distracting, which does this powerful mummy no favors. Still, he's a rather capable murderer, and everyone seems to play into his plan.
Trivia: This film was also known simply as "Talos the Mummy".
-Nefriama's reincarnation was originally going to be played by someone other than Louise Lombard, but then that actress got bit by a rabid dog.
