“Beasts on the run”

Films: Split Second (1992)

Alias: None

Type: Unknown, possibly Mystical

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: In the future, you're probably expecting our problems to come from cyberpunk idiots and robots. But no. There are other threats in the future. And they're not nearly as human.

History: A beast of unknown origin, Scorpio was a sort of monstrous serial killer who inherited the DNA of all his victims. One of his victims was a policeman's partner, which leads said man on a rather self-destructive path to vengeance. Scorpio is aware of this man's grudge, and is enjoying every second of luring him in...

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Scorpio is eventually drawn close enough for the policeman to rip out his heart. The monster is soon gunned down, but there are implications that there are others of Scorpio's kind...

Powers/Abilities: Inherits the DNA of all he kills.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-While his long claws and evasion of the law are scary, there's no denying that this thing is little more than a second-rate Xenomorph. He'll have to try harder to get more recognition.

Trivia: -This film went through countless changes in its making. For one thing, no one could figure out what Scorpio would look like.

-Despite all efforts to make this film a success, it was obliterated by some particularly bad timing. And by that, we mean releasing on the weekend of the L.A. Riots

I wouldn't call one demonic serial killer 'the future', but...

So, who drew this comic? Looks good.

Don't scream. You're already dead.
You are what you are in the shadows, Scorpio.

Quit spoiling the main attraction!

"Sometimes...it just doesn't pay to get out of bed."
Maybe the Brass Beast?

A rivalry that this creature is thoroughly enjoying.
