Films: Within the Rock (1996)
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Summary: Aliens tend to get in the way of important matters when it comes to most films. Here we are trying to uncover the secrets of the universe while these guys have to muck everything up. Sometimes it's deserved admittingly, but is saving the world from a falling meteor really the time to remind us of the folly of man?!
History: A moon is hurdling towards the Earth, threatening to make us go the way of the Dinosaurs. So it only makes sense that we send a bunch of miners to destroy it from the inside. As Michael Bay furiously takes notes, the crew accidentally unearths a monster from the rock. This beast is Vorous, who was imprisoned there in the first place by beings who wanted nothing to do with him anymore. Now, Vorous is stalking them all, putting the fate of the world in grave danger as the crew tries to work around the clock without getting killed.
Notable Kills: Nothing special
Final Fate: Vorous is shot and stabbed many times, but in the end, it's a massive drill that finishes him off by ripping through his chest. Soon, the moon is detonated, and the day is saved.
Powers/Abilities: Amazing resiliance.
Weakness: Heavy artillery.
Scariness Factor: 4-Vorous may be hard to see at times, but even then, he’s a tough cookie to crack. Aside from being to tank a lot of damage, he looks like a horrific cross between an ogre and a black knight who somehow got his armor fused to his skin. Descriptive we know, but let's see you face an armored menace on a moon hours away from enforcing a mass extinction.
Trivia: -This film was also known as "Spacegate", "Terror Moon", and "Spacetrek".
-Vorous gets his name from the Latin phrase for "devouring".
