“Life in Limbo”

Films: Reeker (2005), No Man's Land: The Rise of Reeker (2008)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Desert

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: We've seen how people live, and sometimes we've seen where people go afterwards. But sometimes, people get stuck in between the realms of life and death. And honestly, that's not really the best fate. All the uncertainty, perpetual injuries, and that foul-smelling killer really makes limbo the pits.

History: Apparently once a vicious serial killer, the Reeker is a sort of grim reaper who searches for souls that got stuck in limbo after death. From there, he hunts them down, mostly in very deserty areas, and kills them in ways similar to how they perished.

Notable Kills: All deaths by the Reeker are mirrors of the lost souls' true demise.

Final Fate: It doesn't matter what happens. The Reeker will always be there to take those stuck in limbo and drive them into the next life by force. Whether you see finally getting to the afterlife via second murder a good or bad thing is up to you. Probably not worth the smell.

Powers/Abilities: Near-invulnerability.

Weakness: His foul odor tips people off that he's near. Also, it is indeed possible to escape limbo and back into the world of the living.

Scariness Factor: 3-A monster in life and a monster in death. Not exactly a good combination. But the demonic-looking Reeker is just an aspect of how death works. After all, would you like to be in limbo forever, bearing the marks of your demise for all eternity as no one seems to see you? We didn't think so. The Reeker frankly has the most thankless job ever.

Trivia: -This film was directed by Dave Payne...who also did some episodes of "Fred: The Show"...maybe the Reeker needs a new target...or not. Jon Cena will probably get there first.

-This film was actually inspired by Payne witnessing his neighbor's corpse rotting away with no one seeming to know or care who the neighbor was.

As is the scent of a potential second sequel.

How many times must we go through this, demon?

David Payne? No wonder nobody here can catch a break.
No quarantine. No deal.
