Films: Dracula 3D (2012)
Location: Haunted home/Forest/Civilized Area
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Summary: Every so often, someone takes a crack at adapting one of the most famous vampires ever, only to completely alter the original Bram Stoker story one way or another. Now, giallo film legend Dario Argento is at the helm...and as it turns out, he's totally out of his element.
History: Living in a castle near Passo Borgo village, Count Dracula the vampire lord lures people to their doom before either feasting on their blood or making them into his servants. He's recently caught wind of Mina Harker, who bears an uncanny resemblance to his old flame from centuries back. Now, only Van Helsing can stand between the vampire and the woman.
Notable Kills: Turns into a giant mantis to gore a guy.
Final Fate: This time, just before Dracula can get the upper hand over Helsing, Mina shoots a silver bullet at him, turning him into ash. But after they leave, he reforms into a wolf...
Powers/Abilities: Shapeshifting, invulnerability to most attacks.
Weakness: Silver bullets, stakes to the heart.
Scariness Factor: 3-It is Dracula, after all, so he has that aura of intimidation. But then again, he looks a bit on the aged side to be that threatening, and his poor CGI transformations aren't the greatest. Especially that mantis. Violent as it was, it was unbelievably cheesy.
Trivia: -This film, combined with being a box office bomb, effectively killed Argento's entire film career. He hasn't done anything since.
-Argento wanted to do an adaptation of Dracula, but he wasn't sure how until advances in 3D technology became a thing.
