“The ocean is not a toy”

Films: Shark Encounters of the Third Kind (2020)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Ocean

Height/Weight: That of average great whites.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: With how many killer shark films there are, you'd think that they'd make great weapons of war. And as some films have proven, you'd be right. You'd also be disastrously wrong.

History: Aliens have come to Earth and parked their main saucer in the depths of Oceana, California. From there, they control the minds of the neighboring sharks to kill whomever they please and assist in dominating the world. However, some humans aren't going to stand for it.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Through some human intervention, the sharks break free from the aliens’ control, kill the invaders, and destroy their ship. However, through the alien technology, the sharks telepathically demand that the humans keep the land while they keep the water. It's a rocky truce, but not an unfeasible one.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 1.5-The sharks are just pitiful here. They're either the crappiest CGI around, miserable puppets, or some other cheap effect. The aliens are hardly any better, just being people in Halloween masks. If only the budget were increased, maybe then we'd take this more seriously.

Trivia: -Some of the puppets utilized for the sharks are identical to those used in "Land Shark" just three years from this film.

-Can we just move on to the next year, already?!
