History: Sonny Stein was a marine salvager in the Philippines who got access to a great power. A shaman gave him a medallion that allowed him to communicate with sharks. Sonny soon developed a kinship with sharks, and swore to kill anyone who hurt them.
Notable Kills: Sonny puts sharks on full display in a nightclub when they attack an underwater dancer.
Final Fate: Sonny's shark support ultimately turns into an excuse to kill any of his enemies. But then, he loses his medallion in a scuffle, and overcome with guilt, he allows the sharks to kill him.
Powers/Abilities: Can talk with sharks due to his medallion.
Weakness: Losing the medallion means the sharks will get him.
Scariness Factor: 3-A man among sharks sounds threatening, but he only targets those who pride themselves on killing the creatures. And let's face it, can you name a nice guy who prioritizes wiping out endangered species?
Trivia: -There are no mako sharks in this film, only tiger sharks.
-Sharks are rather important in the Philippines. The whale shark in particular is a protected species, and it's punishable by jail time just to touch one.
