“Small problem, big eater”

Films: There's Nothing Out There (1991)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Forest/Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of a small dog.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: Out in the woods, some of the more ambush-happy monsters wait to bring you down, no matter if they be human or something else. Thankfully, we are experiencing a "something else" scenario, so don't get so bored so easily.

History: Somewhere in the woods of the U.S., some idiotic teenagers are enjoying the cabin life along with a horror movie buff. But as it turns out, they might need that buff, as a bizarre alien beast has set up camp at their place. Soon, the guys are picked off one by one.

Notable Kills: A perfectly preserved kill turns out to have a much more detachable skin on his face after the alien is done with him.

Final Fate: Through some trickery and a little bit of brute force, the alien is forced into a lit stove and blown up.

Powers/Abilities: The alien can fire laser beams that knock out anyone who gets hit in the eyes.

Weakness: The eye beams can be easily deflected, and conventional means can kill this thing.

Scariness Factor: 2-How anyone managed to get killed by this beast, which is small enough for anyone to just squish, is beyond us. It doesn't help that it's portrayed by a rather fake-looking puppet.

Trivia: -Upon further inspection, this beast closely resembles a Stargazer, a freaky species of fish with an upwards-facing face that burrows in the sand, waiting for unsuspecting prey to come by.

-A sequel was going to be made in the form of "There's Still Nothing Out There", but it got scrapped in favor of a film set in the same world known as "This Isn't Funny Anymore".

And nothing is what it will be in the coming years.
A Hydra or a frog thing. Pick one.
That's...not what we call a winning smile.
This has a host of implications we won't go into.
