“The King of Terror's Goth Cousin”

Films: Rebirth of Mothra (1996)

Alias: Death Ghidorah, Desgidorah

Type: Alien

Location: Forest

Height/Weight: 50 meters and 75,000 metric tons.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: King Ghidorah is already a bad egg. But what if we told you that he had subspecies?! Oh yes, the Ghidorah family tree is a lot bigger than you think. Just ask Desghidorah. Or don't.

History: After decimating Mars millions of years ago, Desghidorah's attempted destruction of Earth was halted by Mothra and the Elias. Before the alien could completely destroy the civilization, he was sealed away. Unfortunately, flash forward to now, and a deforesting company has found his tomb. The evil Elias, Belvira, has found the amulet that can awaken Desghidorah thanks to them, and reawakens the villain. Considering that Mothra doesn't get stronger with age, we might be in trouble.

Notable Kills: Weakens Mothra enough to make her too weak to not sink into the ocean.

Final Fate: After absorbing enough energy to fly, Desghidorah is intercepted by Mothra Leo, who promptly overpowers him and seals him away again. Whether he's permanently dead or not is anyone’s guess.

Powers/Abilities: Desghidorah can breathe fire, but also thermal beams if powerful enough. He can absorb the life force of just about anything to become stronger. His techniques include electric pulses, the Strong Violent Advancing Thunder Quake (creates fissures in the ground), and the Sky Anger Bomb Thrust (draw foes in for a quick explosion).

Weakness: Beings of equal or greater power.

Scariness Factor: 4-Whoever said we should have Ghidorah but more menacing needs to be sacked immediately. This imposing beast literally feasts off life itself to become stronger, and was capable of killing Mothra herself. That said, his roar is a bit annoying.

Trivia: -Alongside Orochi, Desghidorah was the first kaiju from Toho to actually breath fire instead of just some ray of sorts.

-Desghidorah's name is derived from "desu", a Japanese phrase for "death".

May the world shine with your light once more!

"Webs?! What do you take me for?!"

"No way can this end badly for I!"
Suffice to say, the first phase needed work.
