The Groovy Sixties

And now we leave the 50's and get into the rather interesting time of the 60's. The times of dominant black-and-white were but a distant memory now, as color films became the norm instead of the exception. This was a decade where gothic horror ruled supreme. And you can thank the guys at Hammer Productions for that. It was also a time for some horror stars to make their mark, including the already great Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, and recurring 60's horror hottie, Barbara Steele. Other, less supernatural monsters seemed to fade from anyone's interest...or did they? Need we remind you that this is the decade when a certain giant fire-breathing turtle came onto the scene?
