The Swinging Seventies
The Seventies bore witness to the twilight years of Vietnam War stupidity, Nixon getting in trouble with just about everyone, the break-up of the Beatles (that wasn’t Yoko Ono's fault, get over it), and other kerfuffles. It also gave us the rise of computers, the Star Wars franchise, and a metric ton of monsters. And thanks to a certain famous director, most of them in the latter half of this decade seemed to come from nature more frequently than usual. Perhaps those hippies left over from the last decade were on to something.
